TENSION is building up in the cobbles as Sarah Platt struggles to stay away from Damon Hay.
Unfortunately for the illicit couple, the PA’s young son Harry catches them red-handed next week in Coronation Street.

Damon Hay (played by Ciarán Griffiths) has recently been playing with Sarah Platt’s (Tina O’Brien) nerves after the pair slept together.
While the criminal is a free agent, Sarah has been married to solicitor Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson) and the couple even made plans to build a family together.
But in scenes airing next week on ITV, Damon tries to strengthen his bond with Adam by inviting him to an event, much to Sarah’s exasperation.
Later on, he calls at the flat on the pretext of looking for Adam but when Sarah reveals he’s out, he produces a bottle of wine and offers to keep her company.
Sarah admits to him that, although she loves Adam, she can’t stop thinking about Damon.
The latter soon leans in for a kiss but they hear the door and spring apart.
Gail Platt (Helen Worth) finds her daughter in Damon’s company and she knows something isn’t quite right as she explains that her grandson Harry has got a temperature.
Damon eventually goes to leave but Sarah can’t help herself and they kiss passionately… unaware that Harry is watching them wide-eyed from the corridor.
Torn between two men, Sarah tries to ease her guilt by telling Adam that she’s booked them both the day off so they can enjoy some family time.
However, as they play a game with Harry, the young boy becomes upset and announces he doesn’t want a new father.
Sarah is thrown into a panic and tries to convince Adam that Harry’s remark was meaningless.
She then admits to Harry that she did kiss Damon but would be grateful if he would keep her secret.
A distraught Harry fails to comply and declares to Adam that his mother is a liar.
How will Adam react?
Will Sarah have to come clean to her husband about her affair?
Coronation Street airs every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8pm on ITV.
