ADAM Barlow is counting on villainous Damon Hay to help his law firm amid business woes.
However, the thug has other plans for his future in Coronation Street and they involve the solicitor’s wife, Sarah.

Trouble began when Adam (portrayed by Sam Robertson) decided to join forces with returning character Damon (Ciarán Griffiths), in hopes it could boost his legal business.
But in scenes due to air next week on ITV, Adam gets on Nick Tilsley’s bad side after the restaurateur finds Damon sitting at his desk and learns that the solicitor will be acting on his behalf.
Nick (Ben Price) isn’t the only member of his family to believe Adam is making a wrong move.
Soon enough, his half-sister Sarah (Tina O’Brien) rows with Adam and announces that she’s off to the hotel he booked for their date night on her own.
She finds herself in the hotel bar, parking herself up next to a mysterious stranger.
The man chats her up as she admits she’s had a massive row with her husband.
Tipsy, Sarah invites him up to her room for a drink – unaware she’s been chatting to Damon Hay this entire time.

Soap bosses have teased an upcoming romance for Damon, due to be aired later in the year – could it be with Sarah Barlow?
The long-standing Weatherfield resident has had issues in her marriage to Adam as the pair quarrelled over building a family together.
While Adam was eager to welcome a baby, Sarah has been more reluctant, keen to focus on her growing career at the Underworld factory instead.
Despite tensions, actress Tina O’Brien has insisted that her on-screen alter ego is “happy in her marriage.”
“She’s quite happy in her marriage, this definitely isn’t something she’s looking for”, the soap star said about Sarah’s potential fling with Damon.
“She’s well aware it’s all kinds of wrong.”
The scenes will not only tease drama ahead for the Barlows but they’re also a chance for Tina to work with Ciarán again, years after the pair first met in drama school.
“It’s weirdly full circle, we started working together when we were 14 at drama school”, she said, “and now I feel like I’m about 102 back working with him again.”
Coronation Street airs every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8pm on ITV.
