COULD there be more trouble in paradise for Weatherfield couple Sarah and Adam Barlow?

The Underworld PA makes an upsetting admission to her husband in upcoming Coronation Street scenes.

Adam Barlow is ready to build a family with his wife Sarah

But she has other things in mind

She is working on a new business venture with Michael Bailey and her uncle Stephen Reid

After being harassed by his former flame Lydia Chambers, Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson) has been looking forward to a quieter life in the cobbles.

His plans were slightly thwarted by Imran Habeeb’s baby custody drama and eventual death.

Speaking of babies, the solicitor finally feels ready to build a happy family alongside his wife, Sarah (Tina O’Brien).

In scenes due to air on ITV next week, Adam tells her he’s planning on taking her out to dinner, letting her know there’s something he’d like to discuss with her.

But it’s clear Sarah has other things on her mind and baby matters are at the bottom of her priority list.

At No.3, she’s deeply focused on a new business venture with Michael Bailey (Ryan Russell) as he shows her some more of his designs.

Michael even suggests they think big and bombard all the retailers on the list Sarah’s uncle Stephen Reid (Todd Boyce) provided.

The trio are hoping to branch out and away from the Underworld factory, led by Carla Connor.

With Sarah’s business-savviness and Michael’s promising designs for a loungewear range, the new business could be everything they’d hoped for.

In Sarah’s ambitious mind, work thus has to come first.

This means her availabilities are limited and she admits to her other half that she needs to work late again in the hopes of winning a big contract.

A disappointed Adam tries to get the ball rolling and tells her that they need to make time to talk about having a baby.

But instead of agreeing, Sarah drops a bombshell on the solicitor, making her priorities crystal clear.

She tells him that now is not the right time to be thinking about having a baby.

In later scenes, Sarah, Michael and Stephen are at the factory, watching on as Beth Tinker works on the new samples.

And things are slowly looking up for their business.

How will Adam react to Sarah’s increasing workload?

Could it eventually lead them to a deadlock?

Or could Adam find a way to sabotage Sarah’s plans by turning to Carla?

Coronation Street airs every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8pm on ITV?

Sarah is looking to branch out and away behind Carla Connor’s back

Could it all backfire?
