Ravi Gulati is responsible for Ranveer’s death

But Suki recently admitted she killed the businessman

1. Suki gets arrested

Suki Panesar hit Ranveer over the head after he had tried to rape her – but she’s actually not responsible for his death.

Questioned by the police in recent scenes, the character played by Balvinder Sopal tried to throw the authorities off her scent.

The late businessman was actually killed by thug Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) who has been trying to get his hands on his money alongside secret lover Nina Gupta (Hersha Verity).

Ravi let Suki believe she murdered Ranveer, leading to her spiralling in previous instalments of the BBC One soap.

Coming up, when Suki arrives home with her son Kheerat (Jaz Deol), she finds her estranged husband Nish preparing a meal.

But the family happiness is short-lived.

The Panesar clan are stunned when the police arrive to arrest Suki for murdering Ranveer.

Suki gets questioned again while her nearest and dearest fret.

2. Kheerat makes a shock discovery

Meanwhile, Kheerat points the finger at Ravi, who is nowhere to be found.

But being present for his mother causes trouble within his relationship with Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner).

Stacey is annoyed when Kheerat ignores her but soon finds out what happened, offering him support.

The police then search No.5A while Nina heads to the surgery.

Ash Panesar then joins her, breaking down as she worries she may lose her mother.

Soon enough, shocking revelations come to light and Kheerat is more than ready to go to drastic lengths to save Suki.

But a face from her past will come back to haunt her.

Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) finds a random man in her kitchen and immediately confronts him – only to find out it’s Don, Sam’s ex-partner.

Don is then seen in local wine bar Peggy’s, where he reveals his motive behind his arrival in Walford.

Sam panics, and tries to cover but she only manages to dig herself a deeper hole by telling Don she still loves him.

To make things more harrowing, Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) refuses to help her, prompting her to turn to Zack with another one of her ideas.

Unfortunately for her, Zack also refuses to be embroiled into one of her schemes and Sam feels hopeless.

She finds herself outside – and bumps into Don putting on an extravagant display.

Sam questions what he’s doing and is speechless when he proposes to her.

Later on in Peggy’s, she drops a bombshell on Don.
