LOVE in the cobbles often goes hand in hand with betrayal – as demonstrated by Sarah Platt and Damon Hay.
However, secrets rarely go unnoticed in Coronation Street and the pair could be caught red-handed by none other than Adam Barlow.
Sarah Platt has been cheating on her husband Adam Barlow
To make matters worse, she’s been cavorting with Adam’s client Damon Hay
Will their secret be exposed?
The Underworld PA portrayed by Tina O’Brien has been trying her best to keep her distance from Damon Hay (Ciarán Griffiths) following their steamy encounter in a hotel.
Desperate to keep her husband Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson) from finding out she’d cheated on him, she’s also plotted to restrict the amount of time he would spend with his own client.
However, staying away from Damon was too hard for her and she’s continued to sneak around in the cobbles behind her husband’s back.
Coming up next week on ITV, Sarah overhears Dee-Dee Bailey (Channique Sterling-Brown) gossiping about Damon’s black eye and calls at the Bistro to find him there alone.
Damon leans in and kisses her, prompting Sarah to not only kiss him back but also follow him into the office.
The pair lock the door behind them but it’s only a matter of time until Adam and Dee-Dee try to make their own way into the office for a meeting about the late licence.
Unable to unlock the office door, the solicitors reach out to Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) and tell her they called at the Bistro but they found the place locked.
Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) soon arrives with Leanne and tow and the pair join Dee-Dee and Adam into the Bistro, wondering where Damon’s got to.
Little do they know Damon is on the other side of the door with Sarah, both frozen with fear that they’ll be caught.
But will their affair really be exposed to Adam?
How would the solicitor react to the illicit romance?
