THE Masked Singer fans are convinced they’ve ‘unmasked’ Jacket Potato as an EastEnders star.
Viewers of the ITV show think that the famous face behind the costume is none other than Alfie Moon actor Shane Richie, 58.

Jacket Potato gave their best rendition of Elvis Presley’s song Viva Las Vegas during tonight’s instalment of The Masked Singer.
Just seconds into the performance, many took to Twitter to share their theory.
One said on the social media platform: “#maskedsinger Shane Richie is jacket potato! ID KNOW THAT VOICE ANYWHERE!!!”
Another wrote: “Jacket potato is Shane Richie …”
“Jacket Potato is giving me Shane Ritchie vibes,” a third added.
Another chimed in: “Jacket Potato is definitely Shane Ritchie #MaskedSinger.”
And even judge Jonathan Ross agreed when sharing his guesses after the performance.
Shane has been on EastEnders on/off since 2002.
He recently reprised his role in 2022.
The actor isn’t the only person that viewers think Jacket Potato is.
Many fans have speculated that Jacket Potato could either be a celebrity chef like Gordon Ramsay or Jamie Oliver.
As their costume has a sticker which reads “Wild Hog Dairy,” some believe there’s a chance it could be a farmer, such as Extraordinary Farming Lives star Amanda Owen or Our Farm in the Dales’ Matt Baker.
Another theory is that as a Jacket Potato is a popular lunch choice, it could be a reference to a Dinnerladies actress such as Maxine Peake, or perhaps Kym Marsh who is playing a dinner lady in the upcoming Waterloo Road season 11.
