The Masked Singer viewers are convinced that JLS star Aston Merrygold is the Robin after last night’s performance.

Fans also guessed that Jake Wood, who recently quit EastEnders as Max Branning, could also be behind the mask.

The Robin stunned the panel with his voice on last night’s show

The Robin shocked the show’s panel with a performance of Can’t Stop The Feeling by Justin Timberlake – and fans took to Twitter to guess who was inside the costume.

“The Robin is Aston Merrygold and no-one can tell me otherwise” one fan tweeted, while another said: “Oh man, two lines into Robin’s performance and even without the clues I can tell you that is 120% Aston Merrygold. I wonder which week the massive costume design clue will come in.”

Other fans pointed to the clue “flying without wings” – realising that JLS sang Flying Without Wings with Westlife during their X Factor final.

But some viewers picked up on the boxing clues dropped by the Robin – who said he was “fighting fit” – with fans pointing out EastEnders actor Jake Wood hosts a boxing podcast.

Other guesses included Joe Swash – because the Robin posed near Albert Square from EastEnders.

New panel member Mo Gilligan guessed the Robin was Bruno Mars, and Davina McCall thought boxer Amir Khan could be behind the mask.

Hilariously, Jonathan Ross thought it was either Jo Brand or Joe Wicks under the costume – while Rita Ora guessed Dean Gaffney.

The celebrity will be revealed when the Robin leaves the show.

Last night, the Alien was first to leave the competition, and was unmasked as Sophie Ellis Bextor.
