Emmerdale’s Max and Kris play brothers Luke and Lee Posner in the ITV soap – but off-screen they’re anything other than brotherly.

HOAR Online exclusively revealed how the pair are dating after meeting on set last year.

A source exclusively told HOAR Online: “They met on Kris’ last day filming and just hit it off.

“They were cast as brothers and are really alike and have been joking that casting did a great job. 

“The boys kept in touch after Kris finished on the show but they’ve spent a lot of time together over summer.

“It’s early days but they’re really enjoying themselves and who knows what the future holds.”

Former Heartbeat actor Mark met Laura (Kerry Wyatt) during a brief stint in the Dales, where he played Kerry’s other half Dan Spencer’s brother Daz.

The engaged pair have been dating for nearly five years and regularly post loved-up snaps on their respective social media accounts, with Laura calling him “by far the best person I know” and Mark referring to her as his “other half”.

Both of their alter egos have since married other people on the show – Brenda’s with Bob while Eric was widowed when Val died – but they got wed in real life in 2016.

Chris has singled out meeting Lesley as a highlight of his 30 years on Emmerdale. Aww!

Sean Tully may be unlucky in love on the cobbles, but in real life Anthony’s met his Prince Charming.

He started dating long-term partner Peter in 2005, after they met when he was working as an assistant props buyer on Corrie.

While they have exchanged rings, they haven’t yet made it down the aisle.

The actress, who plays Toyah Battersby on Coronation Street, has been with fellow actor Mark since they met on the set of Casualty in 2008.

She was playing medic Ruth Winters, while Mark made a guest appearance as psychiatrist Ben Harding.

The couple and their two cats share a home in Bristol.

Like her on-screen sister, Jane’s character Leanne Battersby has not had an easy ride when it comes to fellas.
