SOAP fans have been left disappointment as Emmerdale has reduced the amount of shows it airs even further.

The current Covid-19 pandemic has caused chaos with filming our favourite shows.

What time is Emmerdale on tonight?

Emmerdale will be on at the usual time of 7pm tonight (Wednesday March 25, 2020).

But things are set to change as the show is reducing its shows from seven to three from March 30, 2020.

Itv revealed that filming for the show has been dramatically reduced due to the on-going pandemic.

They released this statement: “Following the announcement that filming of Coronation Street and Emmerdale will be suspended, ITV has taken the decision to reduce Emmerdale’s transmission pattern to three episodes per week from Monday 30 March.”

What is the new Emmerdale schedule?

From March 30, 2020 the soap air Mondays, Wednesday and Friday – instead of its usual weekdays slot.

There will be just three episodes which will air as follows on ITV:

  • Monday 7pm
  • Wednesday 7pm
  • Friday 7pm

Has Coronation Street’s schedule changed too?

Corrie is also downscaling its shows.

The same as Emmerdale, you can catch the show three times a week.

It will air Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays at 7.30pm, straight after Emmerdale.
