Corrie legend Ken Barlows health will take a turn for the worse when hes rushed to hospital with a potentially fatal infection.
The grandfather – played by Bill Roache – has been suffering from a nasty cough and is set to be rushed to hospital with life-threatening pneumonia.

Ken was suffering from a nasty cough in last nights Coronation Street – and his health is set to take a turn for the worse.
The much-loved grandfather was spluttering with a chesty infection while preparing for Sinead Tinkers funeral.
In the end Ken didn’t feel up to Sineads wake and stayed at home with Claudia.
Worried Corrie viewers were shocked by Ken’s rattling sounds and took to Twitter to voice their concerns for his health.
One fan tweeted: “Is this cough going to kill Ken? #corrie.”
Another said: “Ken needs to get that cough seen to @itvcorrie. Don’t send him to Ali though!”
Another fan added: “Is that cough a sign of Kens pneumonia storyline. #corrie.”

Kens health will rapidly deteriorate in coming episodes as hes admitted to hospital with life-threatening pneumonia.
Corrie fans will know that its been a tough couple of years for Ken following his discovery of the truth about Sineads cancer diagnosis.
He then struggled to keep the diagnosis a secret after Sinead insisted his son Daniel was kept in the dark.
Viewers will know that the tragedy of Sineads death and the dramatic aftermath are taking a toll on Ken.
And clearly Ken has been neglecting his health in the wake of Sineads death.
Could this be the end of the road for Ken or will his family be saved from another tragedy?

What has Bill Roache said about Ken’s pneumonia?
Bill – who plays Ken – recently said he has no plan to leave the ITV soap, telling The Weekly news: I am never sure where Ken is going!
“He has had many adventures through the years and I hope he will be going strong and having some good storylines in the years ahead…
“I have no plans to retire or do anything revolutionary. I like being Ken Barlow, I like being a part of the Coronation Street family and success story so I have no plans to call it a day.”
And discussing the 60th birthday celebrations, the actor added: “I am looking forward to the party. We did a special live episode when the Street was 50 so I am sure there will be something extra special this time round.
