DANNY Mac won the hearts of the nation when he appeared on Strictly Come Dancing.
He is also known for Hollyoaks, but away from TV the actor and singer is an accomplished West End star.

Who is Danny Mac?
Danny Mac was born Danny Mac Greene in Bromley, South East London, in February 1988 but grew up in Bognor Regis.
He had aspirations to become an actor from a young age, and studied at Chichester College before getting a scholarship to the Arts Education School in London.
Danny graduated from in 2009 with a BA Hons degree in Performing Arts.
His nicknames as a youngster were “Mac” and “Macca”, which explains how his stage name was chosen.
In 1998, he landed the role of Gavroche in Cameron Mackintosh’s touring production of Les Miserables during the show’s ten-week run in Southampton.
He then reprised the role in the West End the following year.
Since then Danny’s theatre credits include more big shows like Legally Blonde, and Wicked.
How long was Danny Mac on Hollyoaks?
In February 2011, Danny joined the cast of Channel 4 soap opera Hollyoaks.
He played Mark “Dodger” Savage for four years until he quit in 2015.
During his time on the show, he was voted three times as Soap’s Sexiest Man, he also and twice Sexiest Male at the British Soap Awards.
What other TV shows has Danny Mac been on?
In 2016, Danny was runner up on Strictly Come Dancing, but was pipped to the Glitterball by Ore Oduba.
Despite not winning the show, based on his average score overall Danny was the highest-scoring male celebrity to ever appear on the show, at the the time.
His other TV credits includes appearing in Sky’s Trollied in 2018, and also BBC soap Doctors in 2020.
Is Danny Mac married and does he have any children?
In 2011, Danny met and started dating actress and former Hollyoaks star Carley Stenson.
Although they both starred in Hollyoaks, they never actually appeared on the show together.
In fact they met in the West End, when they both starred in Legally Blonde.
They got engaged in March 2016, and were wed in 2017
Speaking about their wedding on  ITV’s Lorraine, Danny said: “It was the perfect day.
“It really could not have been better, it was fantastic weather and it was all outside. We had a really wonderful time, it could not have gone better.”
Then in June 2021 the happy couple welcomed their daughter Skye.
