Will Jacqueline Jossa return to EastEnders?

EastEnders dropped a Lauren bombshell earlier this year that got fans thinking.

In July, Kathy Beale revealed that Ian was in New Zealand because Peter and Lauren were having some relationship troubles.

It was confirmed when Lauren left the soap that she washeading to New Zealand where her ex Peter lives.

But the soap never confirmed that the pair had rekindled their relationship.

The bombshell from Kathy left fans wondering whether Jacqueline could be making a surprise return to the soap.

But EastEnders is yet to announce any plans of her coming back – and fans will have to wait and see.

What was Lauren Brannings exit storyline?

Jacqueline joined the BBC One soap in September, 2010 and was the second actress to play Lauren, replacing Madeline Duggan.

During her stint on the soap, Jacqueline was involved in several important storylines including a twisted love triangle with brothers Pete and Steven Beale.

Her tragic character also fell in love with her cousin and became an alcoholic after struggling to cope with her mums cancer diagnosis.

And the actress made quite the departure from the soap in February 2018 during her sister Abis funeral.

The unemployed single mother made the split decision during the formal event to look for pastures new, and marched straight out of the funeral, past her boyfriend Josh and seemingly straight into the graveyard.

Her departure left viewers utterly confused as to whether she was planning to live in a cemetery with her toddler…
