STRICTLY Come Dancing fans hearts broke last night after they spotted Helen Skelton’s dad crying.
The TV presenter’s proud parents Richard and Janet were watching from the studio audience.

In an emotional final, Helen, 39, was seen dancing for the last time with pro partner Gorka Marquez, 32.
Richard was seen wiping away his tears after she performed – and the same was true for many viewers back at home.
One Strictly Come Dancing fan wrote: “Helen’s dad crying has set me off.”
Others posted: “Oh my god Helen’s dad 
” and: “Helen just brilliant. And her poor old dad was crying.”
The star’s parents and children appeared in a video shown before she took to the dance floor.
In a pre-recorded clip, Helen said: “I didn’t realise the effect that Strictly had on people. My parents and kids have been so excited and so into it.”
Mum Janet explained: “When I see her dance on that floor I just feel full of pride and joy.”
Richard added: “It’s been so good watching her.”
The emotional moment came after Helen recreated her raunchy couples’ choice performance with Gorka.
She was heard telling him tearfully: “You put faith in me that I didn’t have.”
However, they did not end up lifting the Glitterball trophy, with that honour going to wildlife presenter Hamza Yassin.
After the win he referred to pro partner Jowita Przystał as “an angel disguised as a human” adding that the win was “the best thing that has ever happened” to him.
