FLEUR East has been dealt a blow ahead of the Strictly Come Dancing final after being branded the “rank outsider” to win.

Bookies now say she is so unlikely to lift the Glitterball trophy that they are offering odds of 66-1 on her success.

Fleur East has been tipped as the least likely to star to win Strictly

She and Vito Coppola have promised to give the performance of their lives

Ladbrokes reckon Hamza Yassin is the favourite, closely followed by Helen Skelton.

Molly Rainford is considered likely to come third in the running, with odds of 40-1 being offered.

It’s quite a turnaround from the start of the show when Fleur’s experience dancing in girl groups made her a title contender.

Ladbrokes expert Alex Apati said: “Fleur entered Strictly as one of the frontrunners to go all the way, but the latest odds tell a completely different story as she’ll head into tonight’s finale as the rank outsider.”

However, there is no doubting that in the marathon slog that is Strictly, even getting to the final is an impressive achievement.

Fleur, speaking in a joint message with pro partner Vito Coppola, said she was delighted to be there.

They wrote on Instagram: “There are no words that can describe How grateful we are to all of you. We are very Happy to be in the Final ??♥.

“It’s such a joy. Thanks for all your support ???. We are working so hard this week, more than ever, because we want to give our best on Saturday night.

“It will be our last chance to dance together on the Strictly floor. We are so thankful to everyone who has been with us since the beginning and during our journey.

“We felt all your love. Thank you very much. We will be ready ???.”

Strictly Come Dancing returns to BBC1 tonight at 7.05pm
