STRICTLY Come Dancing fans were united in their complaint about Kym Marsh’s dramatic Blackpool Week routine.

The former Coronation Street, 46, star took to the northern city’s iconic ballroom with professional partner Graziano Di Prima, 28, to dance an attitude-packed Paso Doble.

Strictly Come Dancing fans flooded Twitter to say the same thing after Kim Marsh’s Paso Doble

The former soap star danced the dramatic routine with partner Graziano Di Prima

The routine – one of Italian Graz’s favourites – saw Kym look stunning in a flowing purple dress.

Her brunette locks were styled in a plait and then piled high on her head.

Yet Strictly Come Dancing fans had a huge issue with the combination of tracks their sleek routine was set against, these being Only Girl (In The World) by Rihanna mixed with We Found Love by Calvin Harris also featuring the Pon De Replay hitmaker.

One took to Twitter to exclaim: “One thing I didn’t understand is Kym’s song choice?? Since when was a Rihanna megamix considered Pasodoble?”

A second put: “The song choice for Kym this week really concerns me. I hope I’m wrong though #Strictly,” as a third quipped: “Kym babes … who did you p**s off from the strictly staff to get THAT as a paso song 😭 #Strictly”

As similar comments flooded in, another bluntly wrote: “Hate the song choice for Kym. #Strictly.”

One followed: “Worst song choice ever for a Paso but Grazi and Kym are killing it. #Strictly.”

Others suggested the tracks could impact Kym in the public vote, with one posting: “I’m really worried about Kym and I really don’t want to be but we’ve seen in the past how a bad song can put couples at risk.

“Kym did well but it’ll be so unfortunate if she ends up in the DO due to terrible song choices.”

The pair scored 33 for their routine and appeared to have head judge Shirley Ballas’ support.

She told Kym: “I feel like you are in warrior mode. You are here and you are fighting.

“What I loved, it was so powerful but yet you still kept the femininity.”

Blackpool Week – the jewel in the Strictly crown – returned to the ballroom last night for the first time in three years.

For the past two years the pilgrimage to the iconic tower hasn’t happened due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Yet the memories of the show at the home of Ballroom have kept fans entertained.
