STRICTLY Come Dancing fans have all said the same thing about the finalist’s showdances – admitting they found them underwhelming.

Tonight, the celebrities and their professional dance partners were given the chance to pick their routines for an impressive showdance.

Viewers of the show were left underwhelmed by the showdances

The couples were all given a chance to peform a showdance

The long-running celebrity dancing competition will reach its climax today as the nation’s favourite pairing will lift the Glitterball trophy.

Each couple have performed three dances, one picked by the judges, their favourite number from the competition and a final showdance.

Fans were excited to hear the showdance would be part of the line-up, as it sees the show designers run wild with the stage set ups.

However, viewers felt that the resulting dances weren’t as good as they hoped, and took to social media to complain.

“Bit disappointed by the show dance choreography and music choices. No real show-stopper,” one wrote.

Another chimed in: “None of those Strictly show dances felt like a showdance, in comparison to past years for me.”

“I think those 4 showdances were the most underwhelming dances they’ve ever had in a strictly final! Have they run out of budget?” a third added.

While a fourth said: “All the showdances were a bit underwhelming & didn’t really show their best skills.”

“Most of those showdances were quite underwhelming,” a fifth concluded.

It comes after Strictly fans were left seriously distracted by an audience member sitting behind the judges.

Viewers at home flooded social media admitted they were struggling to focus on the action after noticing the “pair of legs” which appeared to be floating in the air.

Instead of watching the dances and listening to the judges’ feedback, fans admitted they were distracted from the show.

Many took to Twitter to reveal they had spotted a pair of legs “floating” in between Shirley Ballas and Anton Du Beke.

The legs looked to be dangling in the air between the pair, as viewers at home joked they had been “disembodied”.

“I am massively distracted by the disembodied legs behind the judges on Strictly,” one viewer wrote alongside a snap of the legs.

Another chimed in: “Watching the Strictly Final with the kids and have to say who thought it was a good idea to sit the woman in between Shirley and Anton with her legs?”

A third added alongside a GIF of a pair of cartoon legs: “Anyone else fixed on the pair of legs between Shirley and Anton!”
