STRICTLY Come Dancing fans have blasted the Christmas special as “unfair” after the show’s winner leaked online.

Dozens of fans took to Reddit to hit out against the fact that some of the professionals who weren’t seen on this year’s series also will not take part in the special episode.

Fans have been disappointed by the choice of Strictly pros

The special festive episode – which was filmed last night – saw six new celebs compete for the coveted Glitterball Trophy.

The line-up for the show has already been revealed, with a member of Girls Aloud, a Gavin & Stacey star, a Radio 1 DJ, and more.

Nicola Roberts, Larry Lamb, Rickie Haywood-Williams, Rosie Ramsey, Alexandra Mardell and George Webster will take to the ballroom.

They are due to be paired with Giovanni Pernice, Nadiya Bychkova, Luba Mushtuk, Neil Jones, Kai Widdrington and Amy Dowden.

However, a number of fans were hoping to see the professionals that hadn’t made it onto this season, or those who were voted out early.

Taking to Reddit, one fumed: “Does anyone else feel it’s a bit unfair for some pros to have two partners and others to have none?

“I’m sure all the pros want to move up to having a partner, but they had some who haven’t been able to this year, and I just assumed they’d be chosen for the Christmas special.

“It feels a bit unfair to give the eliminated pros a second partner?

“It just seemed a bit odd to use Giovanni, Amy, etc. when they’ve already done the main series and some people have just been backing dancers?”

“They should give the newer ones a chance to boost their profile,” a second said, as a third added: “They’ll probably want more recognisable pros involved so more people watch.”

It comes after the winner of the Strictly Come Dancing Christmas special was leaked online – two weeks before the show airs.

The mole – who has been warned by Strictly bosses about his spoil-sport conduct – again took to Twitter to reveal the outcome of the tense dance-off.

Throughout the current series the top dogs at Strictly have become increasingly concerned and frustrated as the mole has refused to stop week after week – despite it ruining the show for fans.
