STRICTLY fans have called for a judge shake up after claiming a show favourite was ‘underscored’ last week.

Fans took to social media to say that actress Kym Marsh wasn’t marked correctly by the judging panel.

Kym landed a score of only 27 out of a possible 40 points as Strictly Celebrated 100 years of the broadcasting corporation.

The actress, 46, has had a difficult couple of weeks on the show alongside pro Graziano Di Prima and has failed to impress the judges – in particular Shirley Ballas.

Kym is now the 6-4 favourite with bookmaker Coral to be the next contestant to leave the BBC show this weekend.

Former Corrie star Kym performed the Quickstep to Ballroom Blitz by The Sweet on last weekend’s instalment of the dancing contest.

She landed a score of only 27 out of a possible 40 points as Strictly Celebrated 100 years of the broadcasting corporation.

Now, fans say she should’ve been marked higher, as one person wrote: “Kym was very underscored last night #Strictly.”

Another shared: “Just noticed how mad the Strictly leader board was last night – Kim and James were underscored! #Strictly.”

And a third added: “@msm4rsh @GrazianoDiPrima #Strictly After being in the dance off last week I’m very worried about Kym this week her routine was very underscored.

“No way does she deserve to go home yet. Kym is better in Latin but has shown she has promise and potential.”

Head Judge Shirley Ballas did not hold back on her critique of Kym at the weekend.

The adjudicator noted: “The core today lacked a little bit, it was loosey goosey, it was moving a bit all over the place.”

She added: “Somehow for me it wasn’t your best dance today.”

Fans felt that Shirley, 62, was ‘jealous’ of the former Hear’say singer – after she was branded sexist for appearing to favour the male contestants.

Kym admitted at the time that she had been struggling and told co-host Claudia Winkleman that she had a “dodgy” day on set.

She revealed: “I felt pretty confident going in…I’ve had a bit of a dodgy day when it comes to confidence.”

Kym added: “The team and everyone here has just picked me up. I can’t thank you all enough for that.”

Strictly Come Dancing returns to screens tonight on BBC1 at 6:50pm
