STRICTLY Come Dancing has been hit by fresh fix fears after a social media campaign to get Tony Adams into the final was revealed.

Despite former footballer Tony, 56, receiving regular negative feedback from the judges he and dance partner Katya Jones are winning when it comes to viewer votes.

Now it’s been uncovered that an Arsenal forum with 100k users is responsible for getting Tony this far – and they’re not stopping yet.

The group has plans to get Tony and Katya all the way to the final.

And with last year’s winners Rose Ayling-Ellis and Giovanni Pernice getting 55k public votes it’s thought bosses are growing concerned that they could even win the show.

The organiser of the group told the Mail On Sunday: “Tony is our captain and our idol, and he needs us now, so we are asking all of our members to download their votes and use all three to get him to the final, and win.”

It’s not the first time this series Tony has left producers worried.

We told last week how he received a dressing down after promoting his own clothing brand on the show.

He wore two items from his Tony Adams collection during a recent episode which breached the BBC’s strict advertising rules.

And viewers at home are growing increasingly tired of Tony and Katya surviving each week, despite his lack of technical skill and finding themselves at the bottom of the leader board.

Taking to Twitter to discuss the footy player, one person said: “I honestly don’t know why @TonyAdams and @Mrs_katjones are still in this competition and who is wasting their votes voting for them.

“The joke has ended and to think that “Potential finalists” are in the DO because people are voting for Tony is beyond a joke. #Strictly.”

A second wrote: “How can this be right that they’re in the bottom 2 and the absolutely useless Tony sales through yet again?? Now tell me it’s not a fix. It’s a disgrace.”

While a third remarked: “Fix again! @bbcstrictly Tony Adams still in? Really?”
