STRICTLY Come Dancing has been accused of being “homophobic” by some fans, after BOTH same-sex couples have now been given the boot.

Last night saw Jayde Adams, 37, who was partnered with Karen Hauer, become the fourth celebrity to be voted off the show.

Strictly fans were surprised that Jayde Adams and Karen Hauer were voted off the show

It comes after Richie Anderson and Giovanni Pernice left a few weeks ago

It was after the judges chose to save Molly Rainford after the Strictly dance off.

Comedian Jayde is in fact straight, but chose to be in an all female partnership on the show,

But few angry viewers still claimed Strictly was “homophobic” as both same-sex couples have now been eliminated.

Richie Anderson who was paired with Giovanni Pernice, was voted off a few weeks ago.

One fan tweeted: “People that are shocked with the bottom 2 couples are forgetting that 90% of the UK are racist and homophobic #Strictly.”

While this one said: “You’re making yourself look like a homophobic fool. This was a beautiful dance. Showing same sex partners is not giving them higher priority though it would be fine if they did. #Strictly is showing same sex partners are normal because they are. I’m straight & find it wonderful.”

However, this viewer disagreed: “Oh my God, the amount of people tweeting that Jayde being eliminated was homophobic is ridiculous. She had the worst routine!! #scd #strictly”

Meanwhile, last night fans watching at home felt neither Jayde nor Molly should have been in the dance off.

Jayde and Karen performed their Charleston to The Ballad Of Barry and Freda (Let’s Do It) in a bid to impress the judges and remain in the competition.

After both couples had danced a second time, the judges delivered their verdicts.

Craig Revel Horwood chose to save Molly and Carlos.

He said: “Well two very different dances but based on technical ability alone I would like to save Molly and Carlos.”

Motsi Mabuse and Anton Du Beke also chose to save Molly and Carlos.

With three votes to Molly and Carlos it meant they had won the majority vote and would be staying in the competition regardless, however Head Judge Shirley Ballas also said she would have decided to save Molly and Carlos.

Shirley said: “Well both were absolutely superb in the dance off but, on a little bit more precision and quality of movement, I would have saved Molly and Carlos.”

When asked by Tess about her time on the show, Jayde broke down in tears and said: “This has been the best thing I have ever done in my life and I will carry it to my grave, and it has been an absolute pleasure working with you [Karen] and learning about so much that will go into my own stuff, in my own work. You are one of the most gifted people I have ever worked with Karen.

“And everyone on this show, said it to me, when I had you, they said ‘you’ve got the best one’ sorry everyone, and I did and you are fantastic and this has been such an honour.

“Not only have I got to be on Strictly Come Dancing but I got to have Karen Hauer, you are amazing, thank you for everything! I’ve done shows before, and nothing holds a candle to the way that this show is run.

“It is an incredible thing to be a part of as a performer, we are so looked after, and in this industry where so many people aren’t looked after, this show is incredible, well done everyone.”
