STRICTLY Come Dancing has been hit with new ‘fix’ claims after Hamza Yassin’s dancing past was revealed.

The TV presenter, 32, is battling it out to be crowned the winner of this year’s series of the BBC dance competition.

Strictly is now involved in a new ‘fix’ row after Hamza Yassin’s dancing past has been revealed

Hamza is in tomorrow night’s final of Strictly

Hamza, Countryfile’s Helen Skelton, children TV presenter Molly Rainford and singer Fleur East are the final four celebrities left in the show.

The telly star has become a huge fan favourite over the past few weeks, showing off his best moves with dance partner Jowita Przystal.

Viewers have loved how much he has improved with very little dance experience, but now things look a little different.

In a video obtained by the Mirror, Hamza can be seen performing two dances at Bangor University Dance Club’s event 12 years ago.

The star looked like a professional dancing a paso doble and a salsa, and there were two different groups performing – beginners and advanced.

While he danced with the beginners for the salsa, he performed in the advanced for paso doble, the Mirror explained.

BBC declined to comment.

A spokesperson for Hamza said: “Whilst Hamza was studying Zoology with Conservation at Bangor university, he took part in two amateur dance performances, he was not part of an ‘advanced troupe of dancers’.

“He has never been professionally trained in dance.”

Hamza has previously confessed that the only dance experience he has had is ceilidh.

He previously told The Herald: “I have rhythm, that’s from my African side, but the only dancing-with-a-partner I have done is at ceilidhs – Strip the Willow, the Gay Gordons, the Dashing White Sergeant.

“I mean it’s knackering, so it’s got to help with the stamina.

“I think dancing is coming more naturally to me than I thought it would, but it’s really just a lot of hard work from Jowita to get me where I need to be on a Saturday night.”
