STRICTLY Come Dancing viewers watched the show break out into chaos as Rylan suffered an awkward blunder while delivering a link to camera.

The BBC Two spin-off show was back for its final outing of the series ahead of this weekend’s live final and saw disruption emerge as Rylan broke one of the props with his own hands.

Rylan sent It Takes Two into chaos

He broke one of the props

He was left in fits of laughter

Ahead of introducing the next couple to the sofa, Helen Skelton and Gorka Marquez, Rylan stood facing the camera alongside co-host Janette Manrara.

As they began to introduced the pair, Rylan was laughing and smirking as his co-star looked on.

As he stood with his hands behind his back whilst they discussed Helen winning the glitterball trophy, Rylan laughed as he said to Janette: “Have you heard the rumour?”

A bemused Janette said: “No, go on!”

She continued to look confused as Rylan continued to laugh as she appeared to fear he had gone off-script.

Rylan then continued: “Apparently she’s got a back-up plan in case she doesn’t win.

“Here’s one she made earlier and it just broke behind my back.”

Rylan held up a broken attempt at a DIY statue as Janette looked on in utter shock as she was left open-mouthed.

The camera then panned to reveal the top of the makeshift trophy on the floor.

The TV presenter laughed as he dipped below the camera as Janette wandered off in fits of laughter at the mishap.

Throughout the episode, all the finalists found themselves in tears as they prepared for the final.

Helen Skelton wiped away tears from her eyes as her partner Gorka Marquez put a comforting arm around her as she nestled into him with a tissue in her hand after hearing touching words of support from her family and friends.

The TV presenter began to get emotional as her family told her in a pre-recorded VT that they were happy that she was happy following an incredibly tough year for the star which saw her marriage to Leeds Rhinos player Richie Myler irrevocably break down.

When asked by the show’s hosts what it would mean to win, Helen tearfully said: “We would love to lift that trophy but I feel like we’ve already won it.”

The prop was left half on the floor
