STRICTLY Come Dancing stars are set for disappointment with Blackpool Week just one week away.

The remaining celebrities and their professional partners face one more elimination before getting to dance in the historic ballroom.

Strictly star Kym could miss out on dancing in Blackpool according to the data

However now there are claims that one of the stars will not make it to Blackpool.

According to data from digital firm Mediawork one favourite is set to miss out on a chance to take to the floor in the northern town.

Elimination data from the company suggests actress and presenter Kym Marsh may be at risk of leaving the competition this weekend.

It analysed social media sentiment for the remaining contestants.

And while last week Kym – along with Hamza Yassin and Helen Skelton – received tens from the judges, things could have changed.

It claims that the social media chatter could mean that the former Coronation Street star is set for the chop.

In the two weeks from October 29 to November 10, Kym has the lowest score, say the firm.

That will mean, if the votes follow, that she finds herself at risk of landing in the dance-off.

However, last night Kym was left in tears after making a mistake on the dance floor.

Kym and Graziano Di Prima danced an American smooth to Chasing Cars, originally by Snow Patrol, and dedicated the performance to her son Archie, who was born prematurely and died shortly after.

The judges praised her “fragility” and “vulnerability” but noted a mistake at the halfway point.

After the dance, Kym became tearful and apologised to Graziano for putting their chance at reaching Blackpool at risk.

She said: “I made some silly mistakes that I haven’t made before I think it was the emotion of the night that got to me.

“It would be so good to dance at Blackpool next week. Not only for me but for Graz because he’s never danced there before.”

However, the judges still awarded her 31 out of a possible 40 points.
