STRICTLY star Fleur East has revealed her tearful backstage meltdown which wasn’t shown on TV.
The 35-year-old star is currently taking part in the hit BBC show alongside pro partner Vito Coppola, but she said it hasn’t always been easy.

Chatting to the Greatest Hits Radio, the star explained: “I usually get up at 4:30am for my Hits Radio Breakfast Show and I finish there about 11 before I train all day. Watching Strictly at home, it looks easier than it feels – it’s been a lot more physically and emotionally challenging than I thought!”
Fleur continued: “The amount of times I’ve cried when people have left the competition… you get so close to everybody and it’s so unpredictable. It’s one thing you have to get used to because you never know who’s going to be in the bottom two.
“Then physically every week my body resets because we’re learning a new dance so the things that were aching me last week, aren’t aching me this week – it changes every single time!”
Fleur has no doubt wowed judges and audience members alike during her time on the show but Strictly has found itself embroiled in a race row after Fleur landed in the dance off for a third time last week.
The singer had a whole ten points more than Ellie Taylor in the leader board at the end of the show but failed to win enough votes from the public to secure her place in the next round.
Both women were forced to dance again – and ultimately the judges chose to send the Ted Lasso actress, 38, packing.
But those watching at home were not impressed to see Fleur fighting for her place and took to Twitter to complain.
One person wrote: “Racist #strictly voting in full force tonight.”
A second tweeted: “How is Fleur in the dance off AGAIN ???? This is getting ridiculous. She is way better than Ellie . This reminds me of the hate that #AlexandraBurke had on a previous series #SCD #StrictlyComeDancing #SCD2022.”
And a third said: “Fleur this beautiful woman in the dance off again… this woman dances really well but hold on let me guess cz she is Black and most of people who vote are conservative and white #Strictly #racism.”
