HAMZA Yassin made Strictly’s Motsi Mabuse cry with his Afro-beats inspired performance.

TV personality Hamza and his professional dance partner Jowita Przystal danced a couple’s choice to the remix of Jerusalema by Master KG featuring Burna Boy and Nomcebo Zikode.

Hamza’s performance brought Strictly judge Motsi Mabuse to tears

The wildlife documentary cameraman was in floods of tears following the performance, which was dedicated to his Sudanese and African heritage.

South Africa-raised Motsi Mabuse also cried as she gushed that she never thought she would see this kind of performance on the show.

Praising the story behind the performance, Motsi acknowledged that the dance couple had made history on the show, stating: “It’s a very difficult dance to speak about,

“I feel like maybe sometimes even some people will not even understand”

The judge, who was visibly emotional, added: “I never in my life thought I would see this on Strictly Come Dancing” to which the live audience cheered and applauded.

Following the performance, Hamza’s family were shown in a heartfelt video message where they praised Hamza’s “talent” and urged him to continue having “fun”.

Strictly fans flocked to twitter to share their thoughts, with one saying: “LOVE HAMZA!! A moment in Strictly history!”

The wildlife lover scored 38 points after impressing the judges.

Motsi rocked a colourful figure hugging dress on the show
