STRICTLY Come Dancing’s Jowita Przystał has revealed she was left ‘unable to speak’ following her performance.

The Polish ballroom dancer opened Saturday’s Blackpool special episode with Hamaza Yassin.

The couple were dancing the American Smooth to Frank Sinatra’s New York which earned them an impressive 38 points and high praise from the judges.

It’s the first time the BBC dancing show has been able to return to Blackpool Tower in recent years due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

And for Jowita, the pressure was on to kick off the show on a high.

Speaking to host Rylan on It Takes Two, the 28-year-old said: “My dream came true, I couldn’t even imagine this experience better.

“I thought it was even better than I imagined and honestly I felt so emotional that night.

“When we finished our dance I couldn’t speak I was holding out so much, I was like ‘don’t cry, don’t cry, don’t cry’.”

Meanwhile, it was also an honour for Hamaza to be performing at the Tower.

“Words can’t describe it,” he said. “I’m dancing my favourite dance which is ballroom, I’m with Jowita at an amazing place.”

The Blackpool special saw Tyler West leave the dance floor for good after being in the dreaded dance off with Molly Rainford.

Apart from Anton Du Beke, the majority of the judges chose to save Molly – which left fans unhappy.

Meanwhile, Kym Marsh has been forced to pull out of Strictly this weekend due to illness.

The former Coronation Street actress has contracted Covid-19 and as a result cannot take part.
