Kym, 46, has been forced to step back from taking part in this weekend’s Strictly Come Dancing after catching Covid-19.

The TV star and her professional dance partner Graziano Di Prima both tested positive for the virus and have been forced to back out.

Yesterday, Strictly confirmed that the couple would have to return the following week once they were clear of the illness.

However, Kym has still delighted fans by taking to her Instagram with a sweet childhood throwback snap, looking totally different.

World’s away from the dance floor, Kym can be seen smiling wide for the camera in the photo, taken when she was nine years old.

Donning a red dress with a white lace collar, the star had her hair up in two pig tails, as she sported a fringe swept to one side.

She was joined by her best pal Lyndsay for the snap, who could be seen smiling next to her as they stood side-by-side.

“37 years on,” Kym wrote in the caption, as her friends and fans flooded the comments section to gush over the “cute” snap.

Earlier this week, it was revealed that Kym and Graziano would have to miss out on Strictly this week after contracting coronavirus.

A statement read: “Kym Marsh has tested positive for Covid-19. As a result, Kym and Graziano will not be taking part in Strictly Come Dancing this weekend.

“Strictly Come Dancing protocols mean that all being well, they will return the following week.”

It is unclear if someone will still be sent home this weekend following Kym’s break from the programme.

Last week, Kym brought drama to the dance floor as she performed a powerful paso doble to We Found Love by Rihanna featuring Calvin Harris at Blackpool’s Tower Ballroom.

It came just weeks after she was forced to miss rehearsals after falling ill.

At the time she said: “I will pull myself through, it is only one of those 24 hour things and I think you have got to get out there and do it, no matter what.

“Even if you have bits dropping off you have to get out there!”
