STRICTLY Come Dancing star Oti Mabuse has taken a swipe at Katya Jones after a row with celeb dancer Tony Adams.

The footballer and his professional dance partner appeared to exchange words after their performance on Saturday night.

Tony and Katya were seen exchanging words at the end of Strictly last week

Eagle-eyed fans noticed how Tony, 56, appeared to be having a heated chat with Katya, 33, after their “awkward” salsa performance.

The pair were seen having an intense exchange in the background as hosts Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly ended the show.

The “row” came after Katya admitted shouting at him to “focus” for making mistakes during their dance on Strictly Come Dancing.

Now, fellow dancer Oti, 32, has hit out at Katya for the exchange, making a savage dig that she is “not one to keep quiet”.

Filling in for Kym Marsh on Morning Live yesterday, Oti weighed in on the “row” with Gethin Jones and former Strictly star Karen Hauer.

Gethin said: “I remember on Saturday night Katya was shouting, ‘Focus’ in [Tony’s] face. I am sure you can relate to that Karen.”

“Absolutely, I mean, you see these guys working so hard during the week and sometimes they get it correct and everything is in the right order,” she replied.

“If there is too much enjoyment, you forget, if there is not enough enjoyment [you forget].

“There is a nice little balance of focus and enjoyment which takes years to master but bless him, he literally is trying his best.

“I am there for him but I can see how much Katya adores him and she knows he had been doing it correctly the whole week and it just took too much excitement and it just went downhill.”

Oti then took a swipe at the dancer, chiming in: “Katya is not one to keep quiet, she will tell you wherever you are.”

On Saturday night, Tony was caught having a heated “argument” with dance partner Katya – as the pair hit the bottom of the leaderboard.

Unimpressed by their dance, head judge Shirley Ballas said: “You made too many mistakes. They were one after the other.”

Craig Revel Horwood added: “You had a good go, but no it didn’t work tonight. It’s a shame.”

While Motsi Mabuse encouraged a disheartened Tony, saying: “Stuff goes wrong in life and you have to pick up our crown and go back out there and salsa it out.”

While Tony made his co-stars laugh about what had happened, Katya remained stony-faced, before giving him some harsh words.
