What happened to Seann Walsh on Strictly Come Dancing?
Seann Walsh was part of the Strictly Come Dancing line-up in 2018, and was partnered with Katya Jones.
But on October 6, 2018 SE exclusively revealed pictures of the pair kissing in an alleyway, after a boozy session in a pub during the show’s run.
Photos showed them snogging in the street – they later appeared on Strictly spin-off It Takes Two to apologise for their actions.
They were then voted off Strictly three weeks after their romance was made public.
Is Katya Jones still on Strictly Come Dancing?
Despite the kissing-gate, Katya has remained a prominent fixture on the show.
But, following the scandal, her marriage to fellow Strictly star Neil Jones ended not long after.
In August 2019, the former couple released this statement: “Hi everyone. As our fans and loyal supporters you are really important to us and so we wanted to let you know some news. After 11 years we have made the mutual decision to separate.
“We will always love each other, just in a different way as friends. This will never change what a great team we make and we are really proud of everything we have achieved together.
“Our shared love of dance means we will keep working and dancing together as well as exploring individual projects. No matter what we do we will always support and respect each other.
“We wish one another every happiness and we will remain the best of friends. We are really looking forward to getting back to the ballroom and can’t wait to keep on dancing. Lots of love from us both xx”
Who is Seann Walsh dating?
Seann split from former girlfriend Rebecca Humphries after the kissing scandal broke.
The comedian has been dating dance teacher and choreographer Grace Adderley since 2019.
In October 2022, Seann revealed he was set to be a dad for the first time, and is expecting a baby with Grace.
He revealed his news during an Instagram Live with an unnamed pal while on tour.
And when he was asked: “So you’re gonna be a dad?” he replied: “Yeah” prompting his pal to respond: “That’s worrying.”
Seann was then seen saying to the camera: “Unbelievable. Everyone else has been really nice, that’s the worst response yet.”
