Who is Ellie Taylor?
Born on November 28, 1983, comedian and actress Ellie Taylor is best known for her appearances on axed comedy series The Mash Report and 8 Out Of 10 Cats.
However in 2021, she hit international stardom on the hit show Ted Lasso, when she played Flo “Sassy” Collins – Rebecca’s best friend and Ted’s on/off love interest.
She also has a podcast with Anna Whitehouse called Ellie & Anna Have Issues, which releases new episodes every Tuesday.
Ellie is also known for her work as a stand-up comic and regularly goes on tour with her show.
In 2022 Ellie took part in Strictly Come Dancing, and was partnered with Johannes Radebe.
Also in 2022, she kicked off her brand new show You Won’t Believe This on Channel 4
Is Ellie Taylor married and does she have any children?
Ellie married her reporter husband Phil Black in 2014.
He is an Australian CNN International freelance reporter, based in London.
Together the couple have one daughter, Valentina, born in November 2018.
In July 2021, Ellie published her debut book My Child And Other Mistakes: How To Ruin Your Life In The Best Way Possible, which became a Sunday Times bestseller.
On August 9, Ellie was revealed as the ninth celebrity to be taking part in Strictly 2022.
She told ITV’s Lorraine: “It is so nice to release it to the universe. I found out a few months ago. I have managed to keep it in.”
