CALL of Duty players, listen up: there’s a hidden “durable” gas mask somewhere in Warzone.

This secret pick-up will let you survive roughly twice as long in the gas – and could secure you a coveted Warzone win.

You can find the durable gas mask inside hidden rooms in the Stadium, accessed using keycards

There’s a special “durable” gas mask that’s lootable in Warzone now

It means you’ll have close around 45 seconds of survival inside gas, before you’ll perish as usual.

The item was added as part of this month’s Call of Duty Season 5 update.

You won’t find it randomly around the map, or inside loot chests.

And it’s not available as a purchased item through Buy Stations either.

The Verdansk train is loaded with loot, but there’s no word of a durable gas mask on board yet

Instead, you need to make your way into one of the hidden rooms inside the stadium.

You can get in there by picking up hidden keycards that are lootable from the ground.

Sadly, even if you go to a hidden room, there’s no guarantee that you’ll actually find a durable gas mask.

But it’s your best chance of bagging the rare item, and potentially winning Warzone by avoiding gas-suffocation longer than your opponents.

Remember that you’ll probably only be able to get one for your team, so try not to die with it.

The Shadow Company have been introduced to “disrupt” Verdansk throughout Season 5

Some buildings now have exterior ascenders in Season 5, helping you quickly climb to the top

Call of Duty’s Season 5 launched last week, and introduced a number of changes.

The biggest was that the roof has been blown off the central Stadium, making it accessible for the first time.

It opens up whole new areas, camping spots and combat flashpoints.

The other big change is that there’s now a moving train that rolls around Verdansk.

This constantly rolling locomotive is jam-packed with loot, so it’s definitely worth hopping on-board for a rummage.

And finally, there are now ascender ropes built onto some of Verdansk’s tall structures.

These provide quick access to high places, avoiding tedious climbs up flights of stairs.
