AN ALLEGED teaser for Call of Duty Warzone’s latest season hints at major changes to the hugely popular game’s map.

Streamed to Twitch on Tuesday by star gamer Tyler “TeePee” Polchow, the 10-second clip shows what looks to be the inside of Verdansk Stadium.

The arena is a huge, prominent structure located in the Warzone map that has remained closed off to players since the game’s launch in March.

TeePee’s video, obtained from a mysterious USB stick sent to him in the post, features what appears to be CCTV footage from inside the stadium.

The security footage plays for a few seconds before there’s a loud crackling noise caused by an explosion, after which the video cuts out.

It’s replaced with an ominous screen that reads: “No signal”.

Call of Duty developer Infinity Ward regularly updates Warzone, its Battle Royale game mode, with new seasons.

Each one introduces changes to the map and other new elements to keep gameplay fresh.

Season 5 is set to launch August 5 and Infinity Ward seems to have begun teasing it by sending mysterious clips to popular streamers.

On Monday, the US firm appeared to leak a clip to Nick ‘NICKMERCS’ Kolcheff that showed a train in the Warzone map.

TeePee gave no context for the clip he shared with his 500,000 Twitch followers on Tuesday.

The gamer regularly streams himself playing Warzone on the site, making him an ideal match for an Infinity Ward marketing campaign.

Apparently, TeePee received a mysterious USB stick in the post which contained the clip as a raw video file.

The explosion in TeePee’s video may relate to a leaked clip of the upcoming intro for Season 5.

That contains a bomb, possibly a nuclear device, being transported into the map, according to prolific leaker ModernWarzone, who found the clip hidden in Warzone’s code.

If a nuke does go off, gamers can expect huge changes to the Warzone map, much like the blackhole that wiped Fornite’s map in October 2019.

We still don’t know if TeePee’s video relates in any way to season 5, so take it with a pinch of salt for now.

The clip sent to him could be part of an elaborate prank, or relate to the next Call of Duty title expected out later this year.
