GAMERS can snap up surprise PS5 stock over at EE right now.

The PlayStation 5 is rarely available, but fresh units have turned up at the UK mobile network.

The PS5 is notoriously difficult to get a hold of

Importantly, you’ll only be able to access the stock if you’re an existing EE customer.

Buyers on other mobile networks won’t even be able to see the units, let alone buy them.

You’ll need to sign into your account and then add the console to your existing EE plan.

“The PS5 stock is available on our website now,” an EE spokesperson said on Twitter.

“Please make sure you’re signed into your My EE account and go to Add to Plan and then Gaming.”

Some lucky buyers say they’ve already managed to order the PS5.

The console was available in a surprise stock drop today

One said: “131 days since release, finally bagged myself a PS5 thanks to EE.”

Another celebrated: “PS5 finally secured!! Thanks EE!”

One customer said that they “managed to order a PS5 through the app” after the website failed to work.

Others are complaining that no stock is visible, though EE says this may be an error due to huge interest.

An EE spokesperson wrote: “We’ve noticed a high amount of traffic for our sites and we’re advising everyone to keep trying.

“If this doesn’t work, we are also advising to delete any cookies & cache or try the site in private mode.”

The PS5 has been largely sold out since it launched in November 2020.

PlayStation boss Jim Ryan recently admitted that it would be much easier to get a PS5 from July onwards.

The full PS5 costs £449/$499, while a Digital Edition without a disc tray is priced at £359/$399.

They’re up against the Xbox Series X (£449) and Xbox Series S (£249), which hit shelves worldwide November 10.

All four consoles have been sold out around the world, with stock seesawing in and out of availability over the past few weeks.

The PS5 launched with major exclusive games like Spider-Man Miles Morales and a revamped version of Dark Souls for players to enjoy.

Xbox gamers, on the other hand, have a new Halo title to look forward to later this year.
