GAME’S Black Friday deals started rolling out more than a week ahead of the day last year.
But what should you be on the lookout for this year as November’s gaming deals roll around?
Just because items are in a Black Friday sale, doesn’t mean you can’t find them, or something similar, cheaper elsewhere. Always shop around before spending your money.
When is Black Friday 2020?
Friday November 27 is the date of Black Friday ths year. The date changes each year, as the shopping event is the day after the US holiday, Thanksgiving.
Thanksgiving falls on the fourth Thursday of the month, and so Black Friday is always the fourth Friday.
Like some other retailers, Game’s Black Friday offers kicked off well ahead of time last November – some eight days before Black Friday itself.
We don’t yet know if the same will happen this year, but it’s best to be ready for deals in the run up to the period.

What to expect from Game’s Black Friday sale
There are usually one or two surprises to expect from Game as it rolls out its offers. But we’d be surprised if discounted consoles didn’t feature heavily this year.
With new generations of both Playstaton and Xbox scheduled to arrive in November, the PS4 and Xbox One range of consoles will become older models.
That should mean plenty of deals – both WILL continue to be supported – as well deals on games and associated bundles, including FIFA 21, Cyberpunk 2077 and Call of Duty: Cold War
So if you’re keen to pick up a super cheap console we’d expect there to be some very tempting deals around.
The Nntendo Switch, Switch Lite and Labo kits are almost guaranteed to feature this year too – although the exact details of Game’s Black Friday plans have yet to be announced.

Standard shipping on orders from GAME is free on orders over £19.95, as is shipping on pre-ordered games and consoles.
Next day-shipping starts from £1.95 if you send it through Royal Mail.

Game does occasionally offer a 10% discount to students, but not at all times.
