How to find the revolver in Sons of the Forest

SONS of the Forest is the new island survival game that recently launched on Steam in early access.

One of the first things you need to do if you want to survive on a hostile island is to gather as many weapons as you can.

Where to find the shovel

And the revolver.

Most of the weapons on the island are melee, but you will feel a lot safer if you have a ranged weapon with you.

The most powerful ranged weapon is the revolver, but unfortunately, there is only one in the game.

Here’s how to find and get the revolver in Sons of the Forest.

Sons of the Forest: Where to find the shovel

Before you try to get the revolver, you will first need the shovel.

To find it, you have to travel to the cave entrance just northwest of the centre of the map.

The entrance is submerged in a shallow pool of water, and there are three corpses around it.

You will need three items in order to move through this cave.

The ropegun and zipwire are in the cave to the southwest, and the rebreather is in the cave north of that one.

Use these three to go through the cave and get the shovel.

Firstly, you need to head to the northeast area of the island, where you will find a golf course.

From here, you’ll be able to enter a number of maintenance hatches that have resources inside.

The revolver is hidden under maintenance hatch C.

When you first arrive at the golf course you can use a golf cart to move around more quickly.

There is also survey equipment nearby that will help you locate all of the hatches.
