FIRST Dates star Fred Sirieix has fuelled rumours he’s behind the mask on The Masked Singer – and is secretly the PIGEON.
The French presenter was quizzed on whether he filmed for the popular ITV show, which kicked off on New Year’s Day, while appearing on Good Morning Britain.
Viewers are convinced he’s the Pigeon – despite not having yet seen or heard it perform.
Host Ben Shephard said: “We’ve already lost my mate Kammy and there are all sorts of rumours that Pigeon is actually you.
“There was a clue saying ‘it must be dove, it’s Pigeon’ and because it’s something to do with love it could be you because you’re a matchmaker.”
Fred replied: “I cannot confirm or deny, but suffice to say I love pigeon, especially when it’s nice and pink.
“That’s all I’m going to say.”
But when asked to sing by the presenters – Fred quickly hit a bum note.
His voice croaked as he attempted to belt out the French national anthem, La Marseillaise.
“Oh ok that’s enough,” said horrified Ben.
“Well, when we hear Pigeon sing we’ll know whether it’s you very quickly, I suspect.”
