Michael roped Jonathan into the Send to All prank

Jonathan was roped into Michael’s notorious “Send to All” skit, where the celebrity hands over their phone and Michael sends an embarrassing text to all of their contacts – including famous faces.

The humiliating text detailed an intimate story about a mystery rash, described as smelling like cabbages by Jonathan’s screen-writer wife Jane Goodman.

It read: “Hi Doc, sorry for the late text, but the rash is back. Jane says it smells like cabbage and I can barely sit down.

“If you can come round NOW I’ll give you any comic of your choosing. Jx”

With a sheepish expression later in the show, Michael revealed the hilarious responses from Jonathan’s celebrity contacts.

One in particular was Australian Pop-star Kylie Minogue, who texted back: “You should listen to doctor’s advice. Out to the shed now. I don’t need any comic that badly.”

Taken aback by the former Neighbours actress’ reply, Michael remarked: “Out to the shed? What’s going on with Kylie?”

To which Jonathan joked: “Maybe that’s some sort of Australian cure? They send you out to the sheep when you have a rash.”

Michael teased that the first response was five missed calls from EastEnders star Shane Ritchie – who Jonathan insisted would only be getting in touch as he knows how much his comic collection is worth.

TV chef Gino D’Acampo shared his concern, replying in a text: “Clearly this message is not for me.

“It does sound like you and Jane have been having lots of fun. I hope your bum will get better. Big kiss to the family.”

Michael then revealed comedian Harry Hill had also responded, simply replying: “Savoy or red”.

Rapper Big Narstie immediately fell for the joke, reassuring Jonathan he would help him sort out a prescription for the awkward rash.

Other responses included comedian Alan Carr, who offered to “take a look” and actor Julian Clary who stated he had “always smelt like cabbage”.
