MASKED Dancer fans convinced a former JUDGE has returned to the show in secret to perform.
Many think that comedian Mo Gilligan, 34, is one of 12 famous faces taking part in the second series of ITV show.
The Masked Dancer returned to our screens earlier this month and viewers are already racking their brains to try and figure out who are behind the costumes.
Mo was a judge alongside Davina McCall, Jonathan Ross and Oti Mabuse for the first series of the show in 2021.
But he was replaced this year by Peter Crouch.
Some viewers have come up with a theory that Mo has made a comeback – but as a dancer instead.
One tweeted: “Is the reason @MoTheComedian is not on the #MaskedDancerUK this year because he is half of #pillarandpost.”
A second added: “I’ve got a theory @MoTheComedian isn’t on this series of #MaskedDancerUK due to other commitments. I was gutted. He’s always so cheerful. Then I realised – Mo’s got yo be one of the masked dancers! Yay! ‘Who’s thst behind the mask?’”
Another answered: “It’s got to be@MoTheComedian right,” when a fan asked who they think Onomatopoeia is.
Mo is also a judge on The Masked Singer.
He joined the cast during the second series in 2020 after he replaced comedian Ken Jeong.
There have been three series of the popular show.
There are 10 characters remaining in the competition after Jesse Metcalfe was revealed as Astronaut and Joanna Page as Pig.
Cactus, Candlestick, Odd Socks, Onomatopoeia, Pearly King, Pillar and Post, Prawn Cocktail, Scissors, Sea Slug and Tomato Sauce are yet to be revealed.
