THE Masked Dancer fans are convinced Scissors is Drag Race and Big Brother star Courtney Act.
Viewers were left in awe after Scissors took to the stage for the first time on Saturday – with many claiming it was the show’s greatest ever performance.
The snippy star impressed with a routine to Justin Bieber’s Sorry.
Viewers of the ITV competition – which sees celebrities in elaborate masks and costumes perform in front of a panel of judges – were certain they had worked out who Scissors was.
One wrote: “The only one I’m convinced I know is scissor, and I think it’s Courtney Act from Drag Race. #TheMaskedDancer.”
Another posted: “I think Courtney Act is Scissors. #TheMaskedDancer”
A third added: “#TheMaskedDancer’s Scissors is definitely Courtney Act.”
The star, whose real name is Shane Jenek, earned a whole new legion of fans after winning Celebrity Big Brother 2018 and is now hosting a new bisexual dating show on E!.
The Aussie finished 13th on Australia Idol way back in 2003 and released a solo single titled Rub Me Wrong on the back of her performance on the show.
She recently came back into the spotlight as she appeared in the sixth season of RuPaul’s Drag Race – reaching the final with competitors Adore Delano and Bianca Del Rio, the eventual winner.
The Brisbane-born entertainer also covered the 2016 US Presidential election as the foreign correspondent for an Australian pop culture website.
British TV fans might also recognise her from her appearances on Single AF on MTV and emerged as the winner of Celebrity Big Brother in February 2018.
She is also friends with Jade Thirlwall from Little Mix after Courtney and her band the AAA girls appeared in the group’s video for Power.
However, some Masked Dancer fans have insisted that BGT judge Amanda Holden is the snippy dancer, thanks to her role in BBC drama Cutting It – where she played a hairdresser.
“Amanda Holden was in ‘Cutting it’, but can she dance like Scissors just danced?” one fan wrote on Twitter.
“Scissors is Amanda Holden,” a second chimed in, as a third said: “It’s surely got to be Amanda Holden as Scissors.”
A fourth simply posted the trailer poster for BBC series Cutting It, adding: “Scissors is Amanda Holden. She was in cutting it.”
