THE Masked Dancer fans are convinced Scissors is a HUGE US popstar – and claim the panel already know their identity.

Peter Crouch suggested the edgy character is Destiny’s Child singer Kelly Rowland with fans agreeing it was more than plausible.

Scissors has been touted as a pop star on The Masked Dancer with many spotting ‘X Factor’ clues
Kelly Rowland was a judge on the X Factor in 2011 and 2013

One viewer even claimed it is: “Even more obvious this series that the panel are being fed their guesses! There’s no way Crouchy is swotting up on Kelly Rowland”.

Another fan wanted to know: “Although I get strong Ashley Roberts vibes from Scissors.. Kelly Rowland is a very good guess. Why is Peter Crouch so good at this?”

And a third echoed: “Scissors = Kelly Rowland”

Many on social media believe Scissors is an X Factor star after a telling clue on the ITV show.

Kelly was a guest judge on the UK’s X Factor in 2011 and a judge on the US version of the X Factor back in 2013.

Several others have guessed that Scissors is Little Mix star Jade Thirlwall, saying many of the clues added up.

One Masked Dancer fan wrote: “I can see scissors being jade thirwall makes so much sense to me does it for anyone else?

“Talent show, the writing on the mirror, she owns a bar in Newcastle?”

The character was seen posing behind a bar saying “I’ve certainly done my fair share of touring”.

Scissors added: “When I told people I was coming on The Masked Dancer, they said: ‘Can you handle a talent show?’ My response: I’m sure I can cut it.”

Little Mix were the first group to win The X Factor back in 2011.

Another still reckoned it was judge Peter Crouch‘s wife appearing as the bizarre, bug-eyed character.

They tweeted: “I’ve decided that scissors is abbey clancy and nothing can change my mind.”

Their performance was hailed as one of the show’s greatest ever dances in the first week
