FANS of the Masked Dancer have been left convinced that Scissors is an X Factor star after spotting a “clue” about her previous career.

Eagle-eyed fans have been watching out for new clues after the masked celebrity performed an incredible routine earlier this month.

Scissors is one of the best dancers on the show this series, performing to Sorry by Justin Bieber – with fans going wild over her.

Fans of the ITV programme are now convinced the character is actually Pussycat Dolls star Nicole Scherzinger.

They couldn’t help but point out how a number of the clues pointed towards the X Factor judge – including her “touring” past.

Among the clues offered in the launch show earlier this month were a bar and the hint: “I’ve certainly done my fair share of touring.”

Other clues also referenced “cat eyes” – as well as the number 40 and writing on the mirror in bright red lipstick.

Viewers linked with Nicole, 44, being cast in Cats the musical with the cat eye clue, as well as the number of showbiz references.

Taking to Twitter, one fan wrote: “I’m thinking Nicole Scherzinger for Scissors,” as a second agreed: “Scissors has to be Nicole Scherzinger.”

“Scissors – Clues are taking me towards thinking it’s Nicole Scherzinger. Touring, talent show experience,” a third added.

“Scissors could be Nicola Scherzinger as she was in Cats the musical,” a fourth person chimed in to agree.

Previously, Masked Dancer fans have linked Scissors with Nicole’s fellow former Pussycat Dolls star Ashley Roberts.

Her close friend Kelly Brook ‘exposed’ her famous pal after convincing herself that she is Scissors live on Heart FM.

Chatting to her co-star JK (Jason King), Kelly said: “I’ve text [Ashley] and said ‘Hello Scissors’ and she’s just responded with LOL.

“She knows what I’m talking about!”

Kelly isn’t the only person to have thrown Ashley’s name into the mix after The Masked Dancer kicked off earlier this month.

The Masked Dancer returned to ITV1 on the weekend for a second series and the characters have delighted viewers.

Bosses lined-up 12 participants dressed in wacky costumes to dance on stage for the spin-off to The Masked Singer.

Already, Astronaut has been unmasked as Hollywood actor Jesse Metcalfe, while Pig was revealed to be Gavin and Stacey star Joanna Page.
