FANS of The Masked Dancer are certain they know who is behind the Onomatopoeia costume.
Onomatopoeia took to the stage for the first time on the weekend and viewers are convinced about his secret identity.
Masked Dancer fans believe YouTube star and rapper KSI is the person hiding inside the bold literary character.
KSI will also be known to Great British Bake Off fans, as last year he served up a part-raw and leaking cherry pie in a celebrity edition of the show.
During Saturday night’s Masked Dancer, Onomatopoeia was seen walking through north London and then inside a library.
They described themselves as a “team of words” and said they have “stamina”.
A badge for Arsenal was seen lying on a table, before Onomatopoeia appeared to show off boxing skills and asked: “Do you like the sound of me”.
Fans are convinced it is Olajide Olayinka Williams “JJ” Olatunji – aka KSI, from north London.
The influencer, who has more than 38million followers on his social channels, has the words “knowledge”, “strength” and “integrity” tattooed on him.
He launched his boxing career in 2018 and, together with former rival Logan Paul, helped found PRIME Hydration. In July 2022, the company became the official hydration partner of Arsenal F.C.
One fan said: “Onomatopoeia could be KSI? arsenal, song writer, north london?”
Another wrote: “@KSI is that boom boom pow guy on. @MaskedSingerUK don’t want anyone to doubt me.”
A third chimed in: “Onomatepea is KSI. Calling it early.”
Onomatopoeia danced to Ed Sheeran’s smash hit Bad Habits.
The Masked Dancer judging panel cheered the colourful character on before giving their ideas on who they think it is.
Davina McCall suggested rapper Tinie Tempah, while Peter Crouch threw footballer Thierry Henry’s name into the hat.
Jonathan Ross believes Onomatopoeia is boxer Chris Eubank, while Oti Mabuse reckons it is Russell Kane.
Other fans believe the masked dancer is boxer and former Strictly Come Dancing contestant Nicola Adams.
Meanwhile, Pig was eliminated from the ITV competition on the weekend after being in the bottom three with Cactus and Pearly King.
To many people’s surprise, the second famous face to be unmasked was Gavin and Stacey star Joanna Page.
