MASKED Singer fans are convinced snooker ace Ronnie O’Sullivan is behind the Rubbish character.

The Rocket, famous for his rapid 147 clearances, walks out to Robbie Williams’ Let Me Entertain You and that is the song the character performed on Saturday night.

Rubbish made his Masked Singer debut on Saturday

When you combine the song choice with the recycling triangle on the front of the bin and the colours of the snooker balls in Rubbish’s opening videotape then it seems like a solid guess.

One viewer said: “Ronnie O’Sullivan. Pause at 0:44 10 red cans, one yellow, one pink, one brown, Etc. The same colours and amounts as in snooker.”

Another pointed out: “Ronnie O’Sullivan uses the word rubbish, snooker ball colours, the triangle and let me entertain you is his walk on song.”

However, another was dubious tough and thinks the song choice might be a red herring to take attention away from the real celeb.

They said: “Yeah this was massively obvious..and singing Ronnie’s walk out song…just makes me think that they’re trying to push it to be him and it’ll end up being John Virgo or something .”

Whoever it is, they managed to survive another week on the show as Cake was eliminated.

Underneath the mask was 74-year-old Lulu, becoming the second celebrity voted out of the ITV competition.

As she took off her mask, she said: “I’m feeling a bit shocked, I was in and now I’m out.”

She added: “My grandchildren love this show, they love it, I love it, so that’s why I’m here.”

Host Joel Demmott asked: “Why did you decide to be piece of cake?”

Lulu replied: “Because I’m so terribly sweet…sometimes.”

Many viewers of the ITV show guessed that it was the To Sir, With Love songstress because of her petite frame and iconic vocals.
