RITA Ora has announced a return to music with a host of collaborations – including superstar DJ David Guetta – after snapping up an £8 million London home.

The 30-year-old star shared the artwork for new EP Bang on social media today, adding a pre-order link.

The record has been produced by Imanbek and will be released on 12 February, with David Guetta, Gunna, and Argentinian rapper Khea featuring alongside Rita.

The singer retweeted a selection of excited replies from fans, who’d wasted no time in placing their pre-order.

The EP has been described as a “mix of modern pop, 80s and 90s club culture and floor-filling house”, with lead single Big, featuring both David Guetta and Gunna.

The entire thing was written and produced over Zoom, with Rita gushing: “It’s amazing how much technology allowed our connection to shine through.

“Music truly is a universal language, and this EP is proof that creative process has the power to transcend any obstacle that separates us.”

This will be Rita’s first musical release in almost a year following her Lewis Capaldi-penned single How To Be Lonely.

The news comes after HOAR exclusively revealed that Rita had splashed out £7.5 million on a haunted house in London.

It’s not clear whether the beauty had been warned about the spooky history of the 140-year-old, six-bedroom mansion, which she purchased last week.

The seller had previously said: “People definitely believe they hear strange things here at night.”

The property is in an exclusive area where neighbours include Kate Moss and Jude Law.

Her current home, a £3million penthouse in West London, is on the market and she is set to make a £500,000 profit on the property.

A haunted house would just be the latest in a long line of knocks for Rita, who recently split from French film director Romain Gavras after six months.

It has been a difficult few months for the star

She has also faced severe backlash over the past year for repeatedly flouting the UK’s lockdown rules – including a highly controversial illegal 30th birthday party during November’s lockdown, and failing to quarantine after a trip to Egypt.

Last week, HOAR revealed that the star had lost 300,000 social media followers after her various lockdown rule breaks.

Earlier this week, Rita was spotted being escorted to quarantine by armed police in Australia after touching down in Sydney for her new role as a judge on The Voice Australia.

She was driven to her hotel, where she will be shut in a room for 14 days as part of the country’s strict coronavirus laws.

A source previously told HOAR: “Rita travelled first class, with all the trimmings of private lounges and VIP suites.

“But there was nothing she could do to avoid having to properly quarantine.

“It’s very clear how seriously the Australians are taking their border control, and there are no risks taken at all.

“They have no time for rule-breakers. Border agents and the military are involved — and she had to comply.”

However, Rita will be quarantining in luxury, securing a £270-a-night hotel – five-star Meriton Suites Pitt Street.
