PILLAR and Post were the first duo to compete in The Masked Dancer.
The pair were unveiled when they had to drop out due to injury, but who was behind the masks?
Who is The Masked Dancer UK’s Pillar and Post?
The Masked Dancer season two saw the first ever duo take part in the ITV celebrity talent show.
Many guesses flooded in as to who could be the famous duo behind the mask.
Former Strictly husband and wife duo Aljaz Škorjanec and Janette Manrara were one of the guesses.
Another dancing couple that were thought be the whole package, were Ola and James Jordan.
However, Pillar and Post’s dancing journey came to an abrupt end as they had to leave the competition due to injury.
Pillar took a tumble and injured their ankle.
The pair were then revealed to be former footballer David Seaman and Dancing on Ice star Frankie Poultney.
Joel Dommett said: “Sadly, Pillar took a tumble during rehearsals and I am absolutely gutted to tell you that on medical advice they have had to withdraw from the competition.”

Pillar and Post were just one of 12 acts who will be taking to the stage to perform.

How does The Masked Dancer work?
During each episode of The Masked Dancer, the judges are given clues about who is behind the mask.
They are showed a small clip where hints about the character’s career, youth and personality are given.
The celebs take to the stage to show off their moves, which could help with any guesses as to who they could be.
Each episode the judges choose who they want to be revealed, up until the final when the last one standing will be crowned the winner.
When is The Masked Dancer on TV?
The new series of The Masked Dancer began on Saturday September 3, 2022.
It is on Saturdays at 6.30pm on ITV and ITV Hub.
The judges who returned to the programme were Oti Mabuse, Jonathan Ross and Davina McCall and they were be joined by Peter Crouch.
Peter has taken over from usual judge Mo Gilligan.
Joel Dommett is once again the host of the show.
