VINNIE Jones dying wife paid for her family to fly to America to be with him this Christmas so he does not have to spend it alone.
Tanya spent thousands on tickets a few months before she lost her fight with skin cancer at home in Los Angeles in July. She was 53.
Friends say she wanted her loved ones in the UK to be together to help comfort one another and her devastated footballer-turned-actor husband, 54.
The devoted pair, who met when they were 12, were married for 25 years.
A source said: Tanya bought flights for everyone. All the family are going. She knew she wasnt going to be around and didnt want Vinnie to be lonely at Christmas.
She wanted to know hed be surrounded by family, that theyd all be there together.
It was typical of her to be thinking of others even though she was going through such a horrendous time.
She wanted that family Christmas in place. It was a worry off her mind.
The source said Christmas was one of Tanyas favourite times of year.
They added: They loved Christmas and the family are looking forward to it, although of course it wont be the same without Tanya.
Tanya, who had a heart transplant aged 21, was diagnosed with melanoma in 2013. She had twice beaten cervical cancer.
