VINNIE Jones and Try Star are the next two acts to be eliminated from X Factor: Celebrity – just a week before the final.
Despite romance rumours between Try Star’s Thom Evans and judge Nicole Scherzinger, she chose to send V5 through to the final.
Vinnie Jones received the least amount of public votes and left the competition.
He thanked the judges and Simon, saying the show helped with his personal life and his grief for late wife Tanya Jones.
This left Try Star and V5 in the sing off.
Try Star performed Hold Me While You Wait, while V5 sang a Con Calma and End of Time mash up.
Judge Nicole Scherzinger and Simon Cowell decided to send home Try Star, sending V5 to the final.
“It’s been amazing, V5 were awesome tonight, clap them,” Levi said.
Ben said: “As long as we go out and give it 110% every time. We left on The Greatest Showman, we finally got to sing Lewis Capaldi, which we were delighted about. We loved every second and we don’t have any regrets.”
This means the final line up consists of The Chase’s Jenny Ryan, viral stars Max and Harvey, Towie star Megan McKenna, and influencer band V5.
The rugby player band – made of Thom Evans, Ben Foden and Levi Davis – sang The Greatest Show from The Greatest Showman for movie week.
V5 took on September by Earth, Wind and Fire.
