A FORMER I’m A Celebrity campmate has revealed how she believes one of the show’s stars is “manipulating” the camp.

Gillian McKeith has today spoken exclusively to HOAR about her thoughts on this year’s jungle series.

The TV star, who is backing Mike Tindall for success this year, produced some of I’m A Celeb’s most memorable moments while bunking off trials in 2010.

The You Are What You Eat star fainted twice on the show back in 2010, but was called out over her “theatrics” after viewers spotted her pulling down her top while supposedly unconscious.

But speaking to HOAR, Gillian told us she thinks politician Matt Hancock is “manipulating” the other stars.

She said: “You do get a sense from him that he is lacking self awareness, but when it comes to politicians they are so clever, they are very good at weaving people into their web and making themselves appear extremely amiable and kind and caring.

“He is demonstrating all of these qualities on the show so of course he could be manipulating us because aren’t politicians like that?”

Not holding back Gillian added: “It’s totally the Matt Hancock show, 100%.

“I do not agree with sitting MPs leaving their works to go and do another job and abandoning their constituency that they are being paid to do work for. It doesn’t make sense to me at all.

“It’s completely wrong, I don’t understand why he doesn’t see that. You have to be completely tone deaf to not understand that, especially in light of where we have come from.”

But in a moment of reflection she said: “That said, Matt Hancock is also coming across very well, he is so amiable, he is like the guy you would want to know.

“He is very skilled at doing this. I think if he is not out first, then he has a chance of winning.

“It will be extreme – he will either be out first or in the running to win.”

“HYPOCRITES”

Meanwhile, last night fans slammed some of Matt’s fellow campmates as being “hypocrite” after mocking him.

The former Health Secretary’s arrival last week has certainly ruffled a few feathers in camp.

The likes of Corrie’s Sue Cleaver, pop icon Boy George and radio DJ Chris Moyles have made their opinions on the matter very clear.

Since his late arrival alongside comedian Seann Walsh, the celebrities have laid into the disgraced MP, who broke his own lockdown rules by snogging an aide last year.

However some fans have pointed out that they have also done wrong in the past.

Back in 2012 Chris was involved in a tax avoidance scheme.

Sue, who plays Eileen Grimshaw in Coronation Street, was convicted of drink driving in 2010.

In 2008 Boy George was convicted of assault and false imprisonment.
