The Rovers barmaid portrayed by Charlotte Jordan first met Justin while in hospital amid her cancer scare and he hasn’t let go of her ever since.
The stalking horror escalates next week when Daisy becomes fearful that Justin (played by former Hollyoaks and Waterloo Road star Andrew Still) may have found the date of her wedding with Daniel (Rob Mallard).
As ITV viewers will remember, Daisy has been juggling her stalking ordeal with her upcoming nuptials and the pressure is slowly getting to her.
Determined to stop Justin from ruining her big day, she calls the venue and reschedules.
In later scenes, however, the owner of the boutique which agreed to lend her a sumptuous dress brings her bad news by calling at the Rovers.
Daisy finds out they’ve had a call from Justin accusing her of assault and they’re no longer willing to lend her a gown out of fear the publicity could damage their business and reputation.
The bride-to-be is crushed and hopes to find comfort in the arms of her fiancé – but he’s finding it hard to understand Daisy’s torment.
Instead, the former Weatherfield High teacher makes Daisy feel discarded by making light of the situation.
Furious, Daisy storms off but she soon has no other choice but to rely on Daniel’s support when she finds herself trapped with Justin.
Soap star Charlotte Jordan teased trouble in paradise for her on-screen alter ego and her fiancé during a chat with HOAR and other press.
And the damage caused by Justin is to blame as Daisy’s mental health is on the decline and “tensions get really high.”
“She will start to take it out on Daniel, as much as he tries to support her through it”, Charlotte explained, “tensions get really high and she starts to snap, she gets really fragile.”
But after some advice from Maria Connor, Daisy applied for a Stalking Protection order.
