LOVE Island host Laura Whitmore is a favourite to take over from Holly Willoughby on Celebrity Juice.
TV insiders say ITV bosses are keen to get Laura to take over the coveted judge position on the controversial show.
But it might not be so easy for Laura, 35, after host Keith Lemon said he was keen on Our Girl Star Michelle Keegan to take the job.
Sources have revealed multiple meetings have been happening this week to figure out who would replace Holly, 39, on the ITV2 comedy show panel.
These insiders told The Mirror Laura is at the top of list of potential replacements.
The source said: “Laura has been a familiar ITV face for over a decade now and she is perfect to retain the show’s younger audience.
“Laura also gets on with Keith, which is important, and she has taken part on Celebrity Juice in the past.”
The This Morning host made the dramatic announcement that should was leaving Celebrity Juice after 12 years to spend more time with her family.
ITV bosses are looking for the perfect judge to join host Keith Lemon, 45, and other captain Mel B, 44.
While Laura is a frontrunner, Keith really wants former Coronation Street star, Michelle, 32, on the panel.
Michelle would have plenty of time to do the gig after leaving her role on the BBC drama Our Girl.
Keith said: “Michelle is number one.
“She’s a Northerner and very down to earth.”
But they could both be facing competition from Britain’s Got Talent judge, Amanda Holden, who really wanted to be the new judge on Celebrity Juice.
The mum-of-two told the Huff Post she was “up for anything”, adding: “I would love it, but it is hard work because they film for blinking hours. I remember when I filled in for Holly, I was like “Yeah! I’ll come and do that”.”
This year is shaping up to be a big one for Laura who took over presenting Love Island from Caroline Flack in January.
She also got engaged to comedian Iain Stirling while on holiday.
Iain, 32, proposed to the Irish presenter in South Africa with a yellow diamond ring he had designed.
